Research at the RGZM
Study
The RGZM is an independent non-university research institute. However, a number of RGZM scientists teach at German and foreign universities; and thesis work is often related to project work carried out at the institute. As part of a contractually agreed collaboration with the Institute for Pre- and Early History and an endowed professorship for Palaeolithics, there are particularly close connections with the Johannes Gutenberg-University.
A new Bachelor degree program in Archaeological Restoration is now being offered in conjunction with the University of Mainz.
